It is very important for you to care for your teeth, and there are several things you should avoid doing and consuming. Specifically, there are some drinks, such as sodas and other soft drinks, that you should avoid altogether. Fortunately, though, there are a number of healthy drinks you could consider replacing them with.
You probably know that you should avoid sodas. Similarly, some sugary juices could also be bad for your pearly whites. While you may think sport drinks are a good option, they are commonly made with high fructose corn syrup, dyes, and salt—meaning they’re actually very similar to soda.
One thing you could do is replace these harmful drinks with seltzer. In essence, seltzer is carbonated water, so if you enjoy bubbly drinks, this may be the option you could consider. Seltzers usually have zero grams of sugar, making it a healthier alternative. And best of all, you can find flavored seltzer as well.
If you aren’t interested in seltzer, or simply want another alternative, we recommend thinking about a fermented tea known as kombucha. This tea is actually a healthy alternative containing probiotics and enzymes. These teas are also made with fruit puree, which gives the beverage a pleasant, natural flavor.
